Karl McGowan is a technology evangelist with more than 25 years of technical, sales, and management experience. He focuses on the use of technology in process projects and guides clients on their digital transformation journeys.

He has headed up multiple businesses in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He focused on the Middle East and Africa regions for almost 10 years, giving him an extensive understanding of company requirements in the GCC.

He has held various leadership roles in the Middle East and Africa at Proven Consult, Crossvale, Software AG, Pelican Software, and IBM’s Middle East and Africa. In the UK, Karl spent over six years working in the banking, financial services and insurance markets, with clients such as Barclays, Visa, JP Morgan, Brit Insurance, and Prudential. He also headed a team that provided Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) delivery services across Europe for clients such as Saudi Telecom Company, Union National Bank, Al Futtaim Group, France Telecom, Vodafone, Ahold, IRI, Orange, and KWB.

He is based in the United Arab Emirates.
